With over 35 years of experience in international finance and strategic business development, Arne Schmidt brings deep expertise and a global perspective to Amon Global Business Ltd. His work focuses on helping medium-sized companies successfully navigate change, manage risks, and access new international markets.

Arne began his career in 1989 in banking, completing comprehensive training at several international banks. He specialized in risk management in lending, corporate banking, and securities trading, and went on to build and lead large, high-performing sales teams. Later, he contributed significantly to the strategic realignment of a renowned private equity firm.

In 2015, Arne became an independent business consultant in South Africa, applying his in-depth understanding of global markets across various industries. In 2017, he moved to Southeast Asia, where he quickly recognized the region’s dynamic economic growth. Through his consulting work, he has supported the growth of numerous international companies and built a strong professional network across the ASEAN region.

Having grown up in a region of Germany characterized by strong medium-sized companies, Arne maintains close relationships with family businesses and SMEs. This background shapes his consulting philosophy: pragmatic, strategic advice tailored to the specific challenges and opportunities faced by medium-sized companies.
